Inspired by the classic Spanish Olive and Pimiento Pepper, this Brooklyn Dodgers 1941 World Series New Era Fitted Cap is featured in solid polyester Spanish Olive construction with the era appropriate B logo on the front. The 2001 World Series was a downright poignant one. It was the Arizona Diamondbacks vs the New York Yankees. The series was played toward the end of October and in to November due to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. It was quite possibly the greatest series ever, which came to a nail biter right to the end of the 9th inning on the 7th game. Luis Gonzalez hit the game winning single for the one and only pennant win for the D-Backs to date and the rest is history.
This special edition Calypso Green edition is featured in solid calypso green with a classic grey undervisor, official team color D logo, TTO 2001 WS Side Patch and flat MLB Cooperstown Batterman logo on the rear.
